Myhal carries the name of John Myhal — a carpenter who spent his life shaping wood by hand. In 1968 his craft became a furniture and carpentry shop, and over the years, a standard the family still measures itself against.

Myhal’s founder has personally led or participated in more than $3 billion of construction across over 30 landmark projects — office towers, residential and mixed-use communities, retail expansions and complex industrial facilities — in roles spanning estimating, field supervision, project management and owner representation. That full-lifecycle experience is rare, and it’s exactly what lets us see around corners on an owner’s behalf.
